San Juan is the capital city of Puerto Rico and is a very popular with tourists, especially the streets of Old San Juan which are lined with colonial-style buildings. These beautiful buildings are originally from the 16th & 17th century and hundreds have been restored to their former glory. The main attraction in this area is the El Morro Fort which was constructed in 1539, and it is a short walk from the city centre.
