Yemen
Yemen is the second largest Arab sovereign state and is situated at the southern end of the Arabian Peninsula. Yemen is one of the poorest Arab nations, and in recent years has unfortunately been engulfed by civil war. Because of this, this country is in a terrible humanitarian crisis.

Destination Information for Yemen

Nicknamed the ‘Empty Quarter’, Yemen is home to the Al Khali Desert, the second largest desert in the world, second only to the Sahara. For those wanting to explore the Al Khali desert, we’d recommend doing so by going on a 4×4 safari adventure.
Yemen has a coastline which stretches around 2,000 kilometres, a highlight being the Al Mughsail Beach. As well as the breathtaking views, you can witness the explosive blow holes and go for a swim in the stunningly clear waters of the Arabian sea.
